Two Permanent Secretaries Removed

Banjul, The Gambia (TNBES) Abdoulie Manneh and Sheikh Omar Touray, the Permanent Secretaries for Local Government and Land, and Ministry of Health and Social Welfare respectively, were removed from office, yesterday (Wednesday 21st January 2010).
No official reasons have been forwarded.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary for Agriculture, Bakary Trawally was removed and replaced by Dr. Amadou Sowe.
According to sources Mambanyic Njie has also been re-instated as the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sport. VOL:2 ISSN:46
