Banjul, The Gambia (TNBES) Family sources yesterday (3rd February, 2010) confirmed to The Point Newspaper the re-arrest of businessman Lie Joof.

Our reporter visited the family where it was confirmed that Mr. Joof was in fact re-arrested on Tuesday barely 24 hours after he was released together with Ex-Brigadier General Omar Bun Mbaye.

Mr. Joof was said to have been arrested together with former Chief of defence Staff, Lang Tombong Tamba, Ex-DIG Modou Gaye and Momodou Bo Badjie, former Director of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), among others
