US embassy, Africell opens 2nd American corner

On Monday, the United States Embassy in Banjul in collaboration with Africell, a leading GSM service provider officially opened a new American Corner in Bundung.

The new corner, the second in Gambia, is situated at the GSM Company’s new customer care services building. The first is located at the Comium complex along the Kairaba Avenue.

The Corner will provide services ranging from culture, education, government, history, and current affairs, empirical literature, internet access, DVDs collections, books, videos etc meant to widen the horizon of all learners.

AS SUBCRIBERS ROBBED… COURT SLAM COMIUM LE 30 MILLION

(IIJ Weblog) - One of Sierra Leone’s mobile companies Comium was slammed Le30 million by the High Court of Sierra Leone.

The matter which was under the late Justice Samuel A. Ademusu in the  Civil Division of the High Court of Sierra Leone on Monday 16th April, got a judgment after the death of Justice Ademusu.

The case  involved  Jemima I. M. M’Cormack as  Plaintiff and Comium (SL) Limited  30^d Wilkinson Road, Yata Building in Freetown, as the  Defendant.

The judgment which was delivered on April 10^th, 2012 before the court by the Honourable Judge Justice Katutsi.
