Press Statement:
The Executive Committee of the Young Journalists Association of The Gambia (YJAG) regrettably decided to postpone indefinitely its "Saturday, January 21, 2012 Fundraising Programme at St. Charles Luwanga Hall, Faji Kunda".
This difficult decision taken by the Committee is due to reasons beyond "our control - including logistical and bringing together all the major actors for the successful execution of the programme".
"Any inconvenience is deeply regretted, especially to our members and all those who have being part of the organisation process of the programme," said YJAG Secretary General, Mr. Lamin Jahateh. "We are also sorry to all those who have wished to patronise us on the day."
Further developments as to when this programme can hold will be duly communicated to the public.
For more information, please call (+220) 3629120, 7730747, 6295902, or 9949490.
