Tapha Sosseh, former president of The Gambia Press Union has condemned
her detention by Zimbabwean authorities, vowing that no dictator can cow
her to give up her work as a journalist and an activist.
The
Gambia’s privately-owned STANDARD newspaper on Tuesday reported that the
exiled former Gambian journalists’ leader was briefly detained by
Zimbabwean authorities on charges that she is wanted in The Gambia for
