Qcell Gives D102, 416 to SOS

“As its Village in Gambia Ready to Construct Fence”

VOL:1 ISSN:27 The Assistant Marketing Manager of Qcell, Amie Sise has revealed said that her company has given D102, 000 to the SOS Children’s Village, which she described as a worthy cause.
The money was handed over to the Children’s Village on the occasion of their 60th anniversary, from where this reporter had a brief interview with the Qcell Assistant Marketing Manager.

The celebration was geared towards raising funds to build a Multipurpose Centre at the village, where they can spent quality time in recreational and educational activities, while giving their mothers some well earned rest from their normal and expected little cunning tricks that sometimes make them raise their eyes to the ceiling and shake their heads in loving despair.
“We have make pledges to protect and help the children on many things and our company is looking forward to do more for the village in the future,” Sise said.
Oumou Tall, the Acting National Director of SOS Children’s Villages in The Gambia, said she always advice the children to do what they know how to do best as manifested by their performance.
She also thanked Qcell for what she called a goodwill gesture and that they are grateful to the Company and the Chief Executive Officer.
For Mbye Babucarr Jallow, a student, thanked on behalf of the SOS Family, the Madam Zinab Yahya Jammeh, whom he described as a mother and a friend to them, adding that they appreciated everything she is doing for them.
He also thank Qcell CEO, Mr. Muhammed Jah, Mr. Gerard Lombardo, the General Manager of Kairaba Beach Hotel, Mr. Modou Tall of Premium TV and Dwight Wilson.
